Bible Quizzing
Bible quizzing has been created for children 6 to 12 years old or in grades 1-6. It is a very rewarding time for kids to learn the word of God, memory techniques, friendships from our church and other churches in the area. H.C.C. has made Bible quizzing is a commitment of time, practice, patience, responsibility and caring all wrapped up into one to be one big team but better yet God's Team. Below goes into detail of how Quizzing works or just click one of the above headings & it will take you straight to the information you're looking for.
2011-2012 year
This year’s Bible quizzing will be 20 study lessons in Matthew. How Jesus taught about what it means to live in the kingdom of heaven. Through His death and resurrection, all can be saved! The quizzing program will consist of 2012-2013 Acts (world quiz year), 2013-2014 Genesis, 2014-2015 Exodus, 2015-2016 Joshua, Judges, & Ruth, 2016-2017 1 & 2 Samuel. We will then start the cyle all over again.
Quizzing Practice
Practices are every Sunday evening 4–6 pm in the children’s building and consists of:
- Announcements of up-coming events,
- Summary of lesson that day,
- Reading Dr. Digalots diary (Whimsical twist and fictional plotlines),
- Play games,
- Snack time,
- Drama team (Acting out the story of the day so kids will have more fun and remember them better),
- Small groups,
- Memory verses.

Quiz Meets
Quizzers are quizzed 4 times a year at different churches. They learn 5 lessons and memory verses then receive a ribbon for their achievement. They will keep learning 5 more lessons & verses until all 20 lessons are learned. They then compete at districts for trophies and then go on to regionals & world quiz (but only every 4 years). Kids take away so much with God's word, friendships, and just trying during a nervous time.

Fundraisers
HCC Bible Quizzers raise all of our money to support the different activities during our quizzing year. So throughout the year we do different fundraisers to get us through the year.

The Bible quizzers are raising money to support the different activities during our quizzing year. Some of our bills include – leader and quizzer study books, posters, entry fees to quiz meets, t-shirts, snacks and prizes, quiz meet at our church expenses, district quiz meet and overnight expenses, and fundraiser expenses.
